PowerPro 2021 - Build Release 7

ASQA Delivery Activity Data Summary report, Course Admin Checklist, locking of Booking Status, flagging of Imported Units and more

Delivery Activity Data Summary

Often requested by the National VET regulator, this report can now be found in the Compliance Reports menu:

Once open, the report can be exported in multiple formats:

Course Admin checklist

This new Course section helps tracking logistic tasks associated with the delivery of each Course. Note that this structure is propagated to the new Course when a Course is cloned.

Locking of Booking Status

Until build 7 it was possible to change a "Confirmed" booking () to a Cancelled one () regardless of the Client progress in the Course. This could be problematic since only confirmed bookings are reported to AVETMISS and, as we know, the AVETMISS data is propagated to the Student USI Transcripts.

As of 2021 build 7, the Booking Status field becomes locked (greyed out) as soon as the enrolment denotes any training activity:

Course "imported" Units

Many packaging rules allow for one or two "imported" units as electives. Build 7 provides support for flagging specific (Course) units as imported. To set a Course Unit as imported, use the following action sequence:

Home>Accredited Courses>[double-click]>Imported Unit

The imported units also show on the Enrolments and results area so users can get a visual alert if there are too many imported units for an enrolment:

Other Improvements & Fixes

  • Improved Sky security code validation
  • Ability to add non-accredited Training Modules to the Trainer Vocational Competencies
  • Fixed issue with USI verification for Clients with long given names
  • Removed non relevant data tabs on new Client action
  • Fixed ergonomic issue when importing Custom reports
  • Removed invoice GST calculation if that system option if off
  • Improved verbosity if Sky connectivity errors
  • Other minor improvements

PowerPro Web Plugin 2024 - 29/1/2024   Changes in WP 2024 The two phase enrolment process for paid enrolments used to generate two enrolment files and two RTO notification emails per enrolment. This has been streamlined with WP 2024 as detailed below. Some Payment integrations were updated to comply with the latest API provided by the Payment Gateway providers.  The BPOINT Payment Gateway is now supported.  Once PowerPro 2024 is released, RTOs can configure courses with a %100 discount code. Other improvements Single step enrolment In the past, each online enrolment could generate two email notifications to the RTO (one before payment and one after payment).
